About Radisson Mining Resources Inc.
Radisson Mining Resources is a mining exploration company based in Rouyn-Noranda. The O’Brien project, intersected by the Larder-Lake-Cadillac regional fault, constitutes Radisson’s main asset. The project is host to the former O’Brien mine, considered to have been the main producer of high-grade gold in the Abitibi greenstone belt at the time of its production (1,197,147 metric tons at 15.25 g/t Au for 587,121 ounces of gold between 1926-1957; SLR Consulting-April 2023). The O’Brien project brings together, among others, the O’Brien and Kewagama properties which are the flagship assets (501,000 ounces in indicated resources and 450,000 ounces inferred MRE 43-101 SLR Consulting April 2023). Acquired in August 2020 the New Alger property allowed us to extend the O’Brien structure by 1.2 km and also to the south of the O’Brien gold structure. Radisson holds more than 5 km of one of the richest structures in Quebec as well as strong discovery potential in the Pontiac group host to several gold showings both in outcrop and intersected by drilling. A 10,000 meter drilling program is underway at the O’Brien project. We need to fill exploration geologist positions.

Main Responsibilities
Under the responsibility of the project geologist, the Geology & HSSE Supervisor is responsible for managing operations and employees in the field, in order to ensure efficiency and productivity, with a health and safety perspective and in compliance with the company’s environmental standards.
Detailed Tasks:
- Support the project geologist in logistical and administrative tasks related to site service;
- Collaborate in the design, implementation, promotion and monitoring of exploration, HSSE programs, policies and procedures, in compliance with regulations and laws in force;
- Ensure continuous improvement and updating;
- Conduct inspections and audits (including collection of air, water, soil and sound samples), to assess and control HSSE risks arising from exploration activities;
- Recommend appropriate corrective measures;
- Ensure the management, monitoring, conservation and confidentiality of H&S files;
- Support emergency response tasks in
HSSE; - Conduct frequent inspection of the sawing and waste treatment/management system;
- Ensure the storage and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with applicable regulations;
- Identify the needs for PPE and other HSSE equipment and ensure their supply;
- Lead HSSE meetings on a regular basis, to educate staff and promote risk prevention and mitigation;
- Manage the inventory and procurement of supplies necessary for operations;
- Monitor field operations and ensure that employees respect company policies;
- Validate drilling sites, prepare drilling configurations according to best practices, standards and procedures;
- Follow up on inspections before, during and after drilling operations;
- Ensure that all field equipment is properly maintained, safe and functional;
- Any other related tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in mineral technology, environment, health & safety or in a relevant field;
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the field of mineral exploration, including 3 years in a supervisory role;
- Any combination of training and/or relevant experience deemed equivalent will be taken into consideration;
- Comfortable with digital tools and environments and very good knowledge of the MS Office Suite;
- Field experience using a GPS;
- Valid driving license;
- Mastery of the French language;
- Bilingualism (French & English) is an asset.

Working Conditions
- Workplace is located in the Cadillac district at 50, rue du Petit-Canada, Rouyn-Noranda;
- The work schedule is 40 hours per week, daytime from Monday to Friday (5/2), but is subject to change from time to time depending on drilling activities;
- Travel may be required;
- Job responsibilities may require lifting heavy weights and working in extreme weather conditions;
- Certain tasks may require the wearing of personal protective equipment for an extended period of time.
